Abrasion Specific Limitations
The Visiport product warranty states that abrasion to the spin disc is not covered by the limited warranty.
For customers having an application where spin disc assemblies are replaced often due to chip activity, T2K sells a DLC (diamond-like carbon) coated version of the spin disc. This part is for applications with higher than average chip velocity or aluminum material ablation problems, e.g. high velocity aerospace machining.
Even though the spin disc is available with a DLC coating, please note that the same exeption for wear in the limited warranty exists with respect to this part.
